EVENTIM.Light

EVENTIM.Light is useful for German organizers that want their own ticket shop with the option to add EVENTIM distribution. The public fee formula is clear, but network sales cost extra and disconnected scanning needs a deliberate preparation and multi-entrance plan.

Germany: 3.5% + €0.49 per ticket up to €6.99 base price; 3.5% + €0.99 from €7

Honest Limitations

Network sales add a separate commission

The EVENTIM network adds 10% of the base ticket price beyond the direct-shop fee. Buyer booking or shipping charges can also arise through network channels.

Offline devices do not share live admissions

App setup must be online within 30 days before the event; ticket downloads begin 12 hours before its start. Offline use needs a final download after sales close. Disconnected devices do not share already-scanned status, creating a duplicate-entry risk across entrances.

Published configuration is partly locked

Seating/location settings and the chosen allocation of ticketing fees cannot simply be changed after publication. Review the final setup before going live.

Settlement follows event completion

Marking an event Finished starts settlement within the published five-working-day process and stops further bookings or cancellations. Claims can affect a cancelled or rescheduled event's settlement.

Hidden Costs to Watch

  • ! The network commission is additional to the direct-shop transaction formula.
  • ! Cancelled or refunded sales can leave fees payable; clarify the case-specific rule.
  • ! Fee allocation and some event settings lock after publication; plan the displayed final ticket price beforehand.

EVENTIM.Light provides a direct ticket shop with an optional route into a larger distribution network. The commercial comparison should distinguish tickets sold in the organizer shop from those sold through EVENTIM channels.

Offline admission is documented, but it depends on advance setup and downloading the ticket list close to the event. Rehearse multiple entrances carefully because disconnected devices do not share their scanned-ticket status.
