InEvent

InEvent belongs on the shortlist for teams that need one configurable platform across onsite and virtual delivery. Its breadth can justify the setup effort, but the subscription, implementation and credit-retention rules deserve as much attention as the attendee experience.

Honest Limitations

There is a material learning curve

A December 2025 G2 reviewer praised onboarding but described substantial first-year learning for the configurable platform. Assign an owner and rehearse the workflows.

Credit and downgrade rules are restrictive

The FAQ says downgrades are not allowed, credits expire with the subscription and additional registrations stop when credits run out.

Retention depends on renewal

The pricing FAQ says data is deleted when a subscription expires without renewal. Confirm export and retention arrangements before the final event.

Hidden Costs to Watch

  • ! Implementation is required; the FAQ lists limited waiver scenarios to discuss with sales.
  • ! Upgrading can require paying the difference for already-used credits and across separate invoices.
  • ! Purchased credits share the original subscription expiry; unused-credit carryover depends on renewal conditions.

InEvent combines many event workflows, so the right evaluation starts with a complete scenario: invite an attendee, assign session access, admit them onsite and reconcile their engagement in the CRM.

Read the commercial FAQ alongside that demo. Credit expiry, implementation and data retention can change the practical cost of a year-long event programme.
