CauseVox

CauseVox can keep an event's tickets, donations and supporter records together. The Free plan covers core fundraising, but auctions, seating and more advanced donor work need a paid plan; compare the subscription, optional tip prompt and payment processing as separate costs.

Honest Limitations

Free has operational allowances

The current Free plan includes 1,000 CRM contacts, 500 monthly emails and five admins. Auctions, seating and advanced automation are paid-plan features.

Tip-free checkout is a paid choice

The optional tip prompt is always shown on Free. Paid plans can remove it and instead pay a 3%, 2% or 1% platform fee, with payment processing still additional.

The trial can become a paid subscription

The 14-day Pro trial requires a card and converts to monthly billing unless cancelled. Premium and Enterprise are annual offers; confirm the billing choice before starting.

Design and exit-data questions from older reviews

Zach M.'s April 2024 account wanted more page customization. Tory P.'s January 2023 account reported losing historical access after discontinuing. Confirm today's design and export/retention behavior rather than assuming those reports describe every current account.

Hidden Costs to Watch

  • ! Stripe or PayPal processing applies on every plan; nonprofit discounts are conditional.
  • ! Additional contacts are listed in 1,000-contact blocks at $5/month; optional AI credit blocks and other requirements need a quote.
  • ! Pro implementation/migration is available for a fee; higher-plan inclusion depends on the stated configuration.

Build a test event with a ticket buyer, an additional attendee and a separate donation. Confirm how many CRM records are created, which emails consume the allowance and which data can be exported for finance.

Compare two explicit checkout configurations: tip prompt shown, and tip prompt removed on the chosen paid plan. Neither configuration eliminates payment processing. If you need a paddle raise, note that the pricing table currently labels that feature beta and confirm its readiness for the event.

The fit assessment follows documented scope. Reviews are dated individual accounts; no hands-on product test or vendor interview is claimed.
