Virtuous CRM+

Virtuous CRM+ fits nonprofits connecting event participation with broader donor stewardship and marketing automation. Its ticketed-event workflow is documented, but a full quote is needed to establish licensing, giving features, implementation and any separate Virtuous products.

Honest Limitations

Software pricing is not public

The current Platform and Enterprise offers require a quote. The revenue split shown on the pricing page is a packaging guide, not a published license price.

Some event documents cannot be customized

The official check-in guide says the generated email confirmation and ticket cannot be customized. Multiple tickets purchased together appear in one PDF.

Separate products require explicit scope

Ticketed Events is documented with Virtuous Giving; confirm that entitlement. The Eventbrite connector handles new CRM-originated events and attendee responses, but not existing Eventbrite events or paid-ticket transaction data. Other Virtuous products have separately described offers.

Training needs vary

Oye W.'s 21 August 2023 G2 account wanted ongoing instruction; Daniel S.'s 3 August account found migration and donor tools easier. These older experiences support a training discussion, not a claim about every current installation.

Hidden Costs to Watch

  • ! Implementation, migration and consulting depend on the order.
  • ! Giving/payment processing, communications usage and additional product licenses require explicit quote lines.
  • ! Optional training has its own published service rates; do not add it automatically to every account.

Demonstrate the complete path from sponsor purchase through guest registration, QR check-in, gift attribution and the next stewardship task. Include one person attending without the original ticket buyer so staff can see how the records fit together.

Treat migration and training as part of the implementation decision. The system reaches beyond an event, so its value depends on whether the fundraising team will maintain the donor processes it enables. That assessment requires a scoped quote and a working demonstration, not a per-attendee extrapolation.

The documented Eventbrite connection has limits: the event must originate in Virtuous, and paid-ticket transaction data requires a separate export and gift import. Check that handoff before relying on the connection for financial reconciliation.

The fit assessment follows documented scope. Reviews are dated individual accounts; no hands-on product test or vendor interview is claimed.
