Keela

Keela is useful when the lasting job is organizing donors, volunteers and follow-up after an event. It connects with event tools, but the subscription covers a contact-based CRM; verify the separate ticketing configuration and keep the full existing database in the price calculation.

Up to 1,000 contacts: from $164/month on annual billing or $190/month monthly

Best For
  • + Nonprofits linking event participation to donor stewardship
  • + Teams combining supporter email, receipts and volunteer records
  • + Organizations already using a documented connected event platform
Not For
  • − One-off organizers needing only tickets and gate scanning
  • − Buyers estimating CRM price from attendance while ignoring existing contacts
  • − Teams assuming all care, texting and advanced fundraising features are included
Key Capabilities
✓ Maintain donor profiles, relationships, giving history and custom fields
✓ Segment supporters for email and fundraising follow-up
✓ Build donation forms and recurring-giving journeys
✓ Automate receipts and donor communication tasks
✓ Track volunteer, membership and project information
✓ Connect Eventbrite attendee and ticket activity with CRM records
✓ Report on campaigns and synchronize documented accounting/payment workflows
Honest Limitations

Contacts include more than event guests

Donors, volunteers, members and stakeholders count toward the database. The event's attendance can understate the paid band considerably.

Additional care and features can cost more

Standard email support is included. Premium Care is advertised from $200/month; texting, pipelines and wealth screening are listed as additional features.

Event operations may live in a connected product

The official integration page sends Eventbrite attendees into Keela and connects Raisely fundraising data. Do not assume a separate event subscription or advanced ticketing workflow is included in the CRM price.

Reporting may need training

Martine P.'s 25 February 2026 G2 account praised migration help but described report-building and training scheduling difficulties. Doug K.'s separately authored account was more positive about setup and support.

Cost at Common Event Sizes

100
attendees
From $1,968 for a year of CRM
Hypothetical 800 existing contacts plus 100 unique new attendees = 900 contacts; annual-tab starting rate $164 × 12. This is annual CRM spending, not the event's complete cost.
500
attendees
From $2,916 for a year of CRM
The same 800-contact starting database plus 500 unique new attendees = 1,300 contacts; $243 × 12. No deduplication, deletion, processing or add-on costs assumed.
1000
attendees
From $2,916 for a year of CRM
800 existing plus 1,000 unique new attendees = 1,800 contacts in the same published band. Currency and final commercial terms require confirmation.

Hidden Costs to Watch

  • ! Payment processors still charge even though Keela advertises no transaction fee of its own.
  • ! Ticketing/fundraising platforms and accounting tools may have their own subscriptions.
  • ! Texting, pipelines, wealth screening, migration and premium care need explicit inclusion or quotes.

Price the existing donor database before adding expected event attendees. Use a duplicate donor, a new guest and an unsubscribed contact in the demonstration so staff can see what enters the CRM, what counts for billing and how communication permissions are retained.

Keela and Raisely are distinct products in the Velora suite. The documented connection can be relevant, but a shared parent does not settle licenses, field mapping or responsibility for failed transfers. Keep those details in the implementation discussion.

The fit assessment follows documented scope. Reviews are dated individual accounts; no hands-on product test or vendor interview is claimed.
